Best Puppy in Show-----TWICE!!!
Kingsley has now completed his 3rd weekend by showing twice in Truro. On Sat., he won best in breed, best puppy in breed, best puppy in group and best puppy in show! For all that, he earns 2 points. He is now 1 point short of a championship. On Sun., he took best puppy in breed, best puppy in group { against 13 other pups}, that allowed him to be entered in the best puppy in show compition and he won that! This happened under 2 different judges this weekend. This time, he gets a professional pic done and I will post it when I have it. This pic shows his competition for best puppy in the show.
Now his next competition is Oct. 27, 28 and 29 in Charlottetown. He will also be entered in the puppy awards held that weekend. It is a fancy affair and only pups who have placed in a group { that is taken a placement prize} are allowed to enter. Kingsley took a forth twice in the Pictou show so he is entered in the awards special. I will update you on his progress as it happens. He is such a happy fellow and he seems to love the showring. His handler, Kim Johnson has a lot to do with that.
