Rough 3 days
Raven has had a rough 3 days. On Thurs., she shocked me by going into labour at 9 PM. To make a long stressful story short, I took her to emergency in Truro where she delivered 2 more pups naturally. This was painful for her since she has an long incision inside and out from Wed's C section but she is strong and she did it. Unfortunately, the sad ending is that these 2 pups perished, stillborn. I would have been surprised if they had survived considering what they had gone through.
Today, finally, she is acting normal again. We have just come in from her first walk in days where she romped a little.She is an excellent mother and all pups appear to be growing. Certainly, the big guy in the middle is thriving!

ONE DAY OLD
Just took this picture. As you can see, some are smaller than others. The biggest fellow is a wavy male. There are 2 curly ones, one male, the other female. The remaining 2 are female and wavy but with more curl around the shoulders. They all have some white on the chest and some on the toes. The big fellow is all black at this time. Sometimes. markings will show up as they grow. Others will fade if the marking is small. The important thing is that they are all healthy and Raven is a wonderful mom. She keeps them clean and fed.

5 BEAUTIES
Just got home from the vets with Raven and 5 beautiful puppies. 2 boys and 3 girls. She had delivery by C section due to a placenta separating. Must get back. Will take a pic tomorrow but wanted to let you know the great news.

Not yet
Raven is off her food this morning but still no signs of an interest in the whelping box. Will post news here when I have something happening! The waiting is hard!
