6 weeks
These pups are about 8 pounds now. Some breeders take the mother away at this age but I don't. Raven is still allowing them to nurse from her about 4 times a day and so long as she wants, I will let them do that. They must instictively know not to bite her!! At night, they are penned by themselves and have not been making a sound from bedtime til 6 or so in the A.M. Through the day, they are doing their poops outside and will go way down the yard out of their play area to do that. When they finish playing, they all run up the deck steps to go behind the sofa to sleep.
They are eating a good meal of wet ground puppy food 3 times a day. Tomorrow, I am going to start wet puppy food which is not ground. I'll do that for a week and then move to dry food.
